CAPACITY BUILDING

A. Exposure Visits:

             Exposure visits to TSG/States where SSA activities have advanced are planned. A team of State and district officials of 3-4 members shall make three visits out of the following:

1.                  Assam

2.                  Himachal Pradesh

3.                  Rajasthan

4.                  Kerala

5.                  Orissa 

            An estimated amount of Rs. 75,000/- is kept as State Fund for the purpose. 

B. Creation of Master Trainings on Action Research & Monitoring:

            Creation of a pool of master trainings at the State and district offices is envisaged. The following persons / officials be made master trainers on different aspects of research, monitoring activities:

1.                  DIET faculties.

2.                  BRPs

3.                  CRPs

4.                  District Resource Group.

            Resource persons from TSG/MHRD/NIEPA shall deal with action research and monitoring activities. A team from Assam may also be invited as Resource Persons.

            The estimated amount of Rs. 1, 20,000/- is kept at State office for the purpose.
