Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV)

 

A Residential Girls Upper Primary School for focused girls of poor families, scheduled caste, scheduled tribes, OBCs Minority communities to continue and complete the elementary education at least upto class VIII. A Residential Girls Upper Primary also will be established at New Mandu village, Tousem block, Tamenglong District as it  has been identified as Education Backward block(EBB) by the Ministry of Human Resource Development,  Government of India. All the necessary procedures of the land requisition of the school have been completed on 24th Mach, 2007 and released 40% of the sanctioned amount for the implementation of KGBV at Tousem Block.
